Program Proposals

If you have an idea for a library program or are interested in presenting a program, please submit the below Program Proposal Form. On a quarterly basis, library staff will review the proposals and respond to those most closely aligned with our strategic priorities and community needs. Not every proposal will be selected.

Please keep in mind that library programs are generally planned four months ahead of time to allow for adequate promotions and to secure meeting rooms. The library does not offer programs of a commercial nature. Library-sponsored programs must have a special educational, informational, or cultural value to the community. Examples of programs that would be considered of a commercial nature include, but are not limited to, presentations offered for free but with the intention of soliciting future business.

Please provide a statement that could potentially be used on marketing materials to describe your presentation, project or performance to the public.
I understand that submission of this program proposal form does not guarantee that the program will be offered. Librarians will only select and follow up on the programs that most closely align with strategic priorities and community needs.
I understand that, due to the nature of the library's planning schedule, proposals will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Therefore an immediate reply is not to be expected.
