The holidays are here, and it’s a time for giving! It’s easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the season, but giving back to your community is a good way to make the season brighter and make your heart happier.
The Green Tree Woman’s Civic Club has a Giving Center in the hallway outside the library. Since 2015, the Giving Center has been a collection point for community groups such as Operation Shoebox, the Green Tree Rotary Club, and Animal Friends. The featured community groups change frequently; we are currently accepting donations for three local organizations. Make someone’s holiday season happier with your donation!
- The Green Tree Rotary is accepting donations of non-perishable food items
- Medical Rescue Team South Authority is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots
- The Green Tree Women’s Civic Club is accepting donations of men’s toiletries, soap, shampoo, gum, and packaged snacks for Celebrate Our Heroes and donations of lap robes for veterans.
