This summer, readers between the ages of 4 – 18 can read their way to a Pirates game at PNC Park by participating in Pirates Tales, a program brought to you by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, the Allegheny County Library Association and the Pittsburgh Pirates. All you have to do is read one book per week! Select and finish a grade-level book, then complete the Pirates Tales Entry Form. Submit it to us at the library or you can log your books online.
As you read more books, you’ll progress around the bases with the ultimate goal of hitting a grand slam! You’ll win prizes when you read 5, 10, and 15 books; read 20 books and you’ll hit a home run! Earn a Grand Slam by reading 21 books or more and earn a chance to win an invitation to Pirates Tales Day at PNC Park.
