If you have craft supplies that you no longer need or want, or if you're interested in trying something new without a big upfront investment, come to our craft swap in the library's lobby! We'll kick off the swap by putting out goodies from the library's craft closet. To allow for social distancing, this will be a two-day event where you can drop in anytime. Donate your own supplies and pick up some new ones. The more people who donate, the greater the variety. Open to all ages!
- Fabric must be clean and dry, please package smaller scraps into gallon or sandwich bags.
- Tools and machines should be in good working condition.
- Glues, ink pads, and markers should not be dry or crusty.
- Papers (such as scrapbook papers or books) should be clean and free of water damage.
Anything left behind after the craft swap will be donated or kept for library programming.
Donation ideas: glues, beads, knitting needles, crochet hooks, fabric you planned to use but never did, coloring books, ribbons, clay, paints and brushes, canvases, embroidery thread, children's crafting kits, fancy hole punches, yarn...anything sitting in your craft corner/pile/closet that hasn't been used but could be great for the right person!
