Hark! The library cordially invites you to a most pleasing tête-à-tête with local author Audrey Abbott to celebrate her new historical romance, The Lady’s Desire. Witness her reveal the private details of her writing life! Bask in the secrets of her historical research! Behold as she lets loose the controversial history of the romance genre! To complement this luscious talk, we have the ingredients to fulfill any regal lady’s desire – special desserts and a chocolate fountain! Prepare thyself for a bodice-ripping good time! Free and open to adults. Registration is strongly suggested.

Author Bio: Audrey Abbott grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She married her college sweetheart, and they have two amazing daughters and three precious grandchildren. She is a retired librarian whose non-literary passions are: bacon, caffeine, chocolate, and strawberries! Audrey is a member of Romance Writers of America, Three Rivers Romance Writers, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and Pennwriters.
