Cook Book Club
January 18 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
One event on February 15, 2019 at 2:00pm
Do you love to browse cook books? Are you a foodie? Do you want to learn your way around the kitchen? Then have we got a club for you! It’s called the Cook Book Club.
The premise is simple. Each month, the library selects a cook book and displays it at the front desk. Peruse the book and pick out a recipe you want to make. Post-It Notes and pens will be on hand so that you can mark the page with your dish of choice (be sure to add your name too, so we know who is cooking what). A library staff member will then photocopy the recipe for you to take home.
Next, prepare your food or beverage in time for the Cook Book Club, which takes place the third Friday of each month. As a rule of thumb, we usually make one batch or enough for 6-8 people. All tableware will be provided. Just bring something to scoop out your dish.
During our meeting, we’ll all have a chance to sample, discuss, and select the tastiest recipes. After the library has compiled enough favorite foods, we will put them together and share them with the group. Sounds like fun, right?
Join us and come hungry. No registration is necessary.
