It’s been a mild winter here in Green Tree. We’ve certainly had our share of cold days, windy nights, and snowy mornings but we’ve also had 60 degree afternoons and thunderstorms! With February well on its way, we definitely still have the threat of a winter storm (or two) over our heads but we can also start day dreaming about more sunlight and light spring breezes. With daydreams and more daylight comes thinking about what activities and events are available to fill up our spring calendar! And that is something Green Tree Public Library can help with! Our Spring Events calendar is now up online and program registration is open!
We have a wide variety of storytimes, events, and programs being offered this spring and we are so excited to share them with you. From regularly scheduled storytimes for young readers and Lucky Day Crafts for children of all ages, Arts & Books activities for adult and an AARP Safe Driving instruction course, we have something for just about everyone in March, April and May!
Registration for Spring events began today, February 13, 2017 and registration for programs will stay open until they fill up, or otherwise posted. You can register for programs online, in person, and sometimes by telephone. Please note that we are unable to take telephone registrations for events that have a registration fee. We also have the Spring Library Events, Programs, and Storytimes brochures ready for you to take home. Pick one up at the library on your next visit and keep the Spring Calendar handy always.
Have no fear, the dark winter days will soon be over and flowers will be blooming! Just don’t forget that Green Tree Public Library offers a season packed with fun, learning, and of course, reading for you and your whole family. We hope to see you soon!
