Our library eBooks platform OverDrive is constantly improving your digital library experience. It introduces us to cool features like Libby app. This fall, OverDrive brings us an improved Kindle book format. A new Kindle Books link has been added to the navigation menu; just click the link and it will take you to the Kindle books collection page. You don’t need to use an advanced search to select Kindle format anymore. Once you checkout an eBook, the Kindle book will be the first format option presented on the Loans page. Also, you can make Kindle your reading preference on your Settings page so that you only see Kindle book options for borrowing books. These new Kindle features are user-friendly and make browsing and borrowing easier and more enjoyable.
Here are new features on OverDrive:
- The Kindle Books link will generate a search for all Kindle Books in your library’s collection, sorted by date added.
- If you select Kindle as your preference, only show the Kindle Book option for borrowed eBooks. Of course, you can change your preference at any time.
- The Kindle Book will be the first format option presented to users on the Loans page.
