Tips and Tricks for Planning Your Next Trip
July 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Do you love the idea of traveling but aren’t sure of the best way to plan a trip? Are you hesitant to pay a travel agent for something you think you should be able to figure out on your own? Or are you an armchair traveler who likes to hear about others’ tips for trips? Come learn about how to use the library and online resources to plan your next trip, whether it’s to a faraway foreign country or simply the next state over.
Presenting will be Marisa Bell-Metereau, who has traveled to 41 states and 23 countries, and took her first cross-country trip when she was just 3 months old. A grantwriter by Day, Marisa is an avid traveler who is always planning her next getaway, be it a weekend road trip or an international flight to South America. In this program, she’ll cover how to decide where to go and when, why you should have a daily itinerary, and where to find the best, most up-to-date advice on your destination.
Free and open to adults. Registration is required.
This program has been made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Library.
