Intro to Archaeology

Can you identify the difference between a rock and a hammer stone? Who lived here in Western PA long before Pittsburgh was built? Learn how American Indians created stone tools like projectile points and net sinkers. Park Rangers from the Allegheny Parks will teach kids about archaeological theory and practice with hands on activities and real artifacts. For kids in grades 3-6. Registration is required.
