Ecothrifty Living

September 17 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Want to learn how to make greener, healthier choices while saving money? You’ll be surprised to discover all the artificial chemicals hiding in your home, food and personal care products, but you can easily replace them with natural alternatives that cost far less! Even if the ingredients in packaged food look safe, there can be dangerous chemicals leaching out of plastic bottles and lined metal cans into your food. And the word “fragrance” can hide hundreds of scary ingredients. We are not talking about creating complicated recipes. We are talking about using simple things like baking soda, sugar, vinegar, salt, and other household staples to replace commercial products. Come to this free program presented by Deborah Niemann, writer of several books on the subject of eco-friendly living and blogger at The Thrifty Homesteader. Deborah will also have her book Ecothrifty Living for sale at the event as well.

Registration is required. This program is recommended for adults and older teens.
