Puppet and Activity Kits
The Green Tree Library has a number of puppet and activity kits available for children and parents. Puppet kits contain books and puppets that make for an interactive story experience. Activity kits are collections of books, videos and toys/props with a common theme. Ask a library staff member for more information!
The Nasri Language Collection
The Nasri Language Collection is made possible by a grant from Eunice Nasri. The collection includes materials that promote language aquisition and development. These resources include books, cds and computer software. The collection was created to honor the memory of Dr. William Nasri. Dr. Nasri, a lifetime library board member, was a professor at the University of Pittsburgh and a lifelong supporter of libraries, learning and intellectual freedom.
The Vertical File
The Green Tree Library has a vertical file containing information about Green Tree, Pittsburgh and a variety of other subjects. All members of the public are invited to peruse the file. Please ask a library staff member for more information.
Research Databases
As a member of the Allegheny County Library Association, The Gree Tree Library has access to a number of research databases. The databases cover subjects including art, auto information, geneology, news, languages and more! Click HERE to access the library's databases.
